Elderly Man Dies After Crashing Into Wall

An elderly gentleman has died after colliding with a wall.

The accident took place on High Road near Orchid Road. The driver, in his early 70′s was traveling along High road when the accident occured. While the exact cause of the accident is not known, it is believed that the driver may have suffered from a medical condition that contributed to the accident.

ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene to find the driver still behind the wheel but he had unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.

The relevant authorities are investigating the accident.

    Was sad to see that after 3 hours from passing there the first time that he was still in the bakkie! Surely 3 hours is more time than is needed to remove a body froma accident scene. He wasn’t even coverd,still laying lifeless behind the wheel?!?!?! That’s un acceptable!!
