Two men were killed and another critically injured in an exchange of fire with police on the R56 near Baynsfield, Pietermaritzburg this afternoon.
The men sustained multiple gunshot wounds and the critically injured man was treated and stabilised at the scene by Netcare911 Paramedics before being transported by ambulance to the Edendale Hospital for further care.
