A man is in a serious condition after he sustained a snake bite in the Zeerust area this morning. It is believed that a vine snake bit the man at a dam where they were camping out.
After consulting a doctor the man was admitted into the Netcare Ferncrest hospital for observation and the later airlifted onboard the Netcare 1 medical helicopter to the Netcare Milpark hospital for intensive medical care.
