A Glen Anil man was seriously injured in an attack at his Highdale Road home last night.
While South African Police Service detectives are still investigating what transpired, it is alleged that the man had been at home with his family when five men entered the house. They demanded valuables and cash and a scuffle between the resident and the thieves ensued.
The man sustained multiple stab wounds and was treated and stabilised by Netcare911 Advanced Life Support Paramedics before he was rushed to the Netcare Umhlanga Hospital for definitive medical care.
