ER24 paramedics were called to a factory in Stormsriver where a man had fallen in a wood chipper.
On arrival of the paramedics the man had already been taken out the machine and first aiders from the company had performed CPR. The man sustained severe traumatic injuries to his legs and was unfortunately already dead when emergency services arrived.
It is alleged that the man was doing maintenance on the chipper when it was turned on, causing him to fall in the machine.
Police were also in attendance.
