A man in his twenties died in a motorcycle accident in Edenvale this morning. It is believed that the man was travelling along Terrace road in Edenvale when he collided into the back of a 1 ton Kia truck with such force that the bike slid under the truck and totally snapped the axel.
The mangled remains of the bike came to rest about 100 meters down the road while the rider was found 10 meters from the impact lying supine on the roadway.
Netcare 911 paramedics worked tirelessly to resuscitate the critically wounded rider, tragically he died on scene due to the extensive injuries that he had sustained.
