Two children aged 4 and 6 has drowned in the flooding of the Gola – Gola river in the Fulweni area today. Police was alerted by the public at around mid day and medics and the Police search and rescue under the leadership of Captain Troy Allison was dispatched to the scene.
Police divers went into the flood water and retrieved the body of the 6 year old girl, the 4 year old is still missing and the search will continue tomorrow. Details of the incident can be obtained from Captain Allison
