Please find attached pictures of the 2 vehicles that was involved in the accident that took place on Sunday evening (±20H15) on the N17 close to Devon. I took the pictures on Thursday.
The Landrover Discovery was travelling in the direction of Springs and the Toyota (with the family of Secunda) was travelling towards Secunda.
6 people died in the accident, the family of 4 from Secunda and 2 people in the Landrover. The Landrover ended up on top of the Toyota. (I will have a picture of the accident scene today)
The driver of the Landrover was admitted to the N17 hospital in Springs. The Traffic Investigation Services are handling the incident and it’s still not clear what happened, but the road was closed for several hours.
