A man in his 30’s was very lucky this morning to have come out of a serious car accident this morning in Roodekrans with only relatively moderate injuries.
The man allegedly lost control of his car and rolled down the hill at the corners of Doreen and C R Swart. The car landed up on its passenger side, up against the trees. The man was found still inside his car when passersby came across him. They pulled him out of the car and lay him on the ground as paramedics were called to the scene.
The man had a visibly broken arm and he was in some amount of pain, but he was calm and very cooperative to the paramedics. He was treated for his injuries at the scene before the local Fire and Rescue Services assisted with carrying the injured man up the hill and to the waiting ambulance.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The man was taken to Krugersdorp Hospital for further treatment.
