6 people have sustained various injuries this morning when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned.

The cause of the collision is unknown, but it seems that the VW passenger vehicle had left the road before overturning. When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found all of the occupants outside the wrecked vehicle.

One of the occupants, a male, had sustained a severe head injury and paramedics used Advanced Life Support procedures to stabilise the man. 2 other male occupants were both treated for suspected back and neck injuries as well as various scrapes and bruises before being transported to a nearby medical facility.

The 3 other occupants were treated and transported to hospital by another ambulance service. Local law enforcement authorities who attended the scene will be investigating the further.
