A man has sustained a injury to his arm after a Lioness climbed into his car and bit him at a lion park in Lanseria.

The 28 year old man who was with his wife at the lion park for their anniversary was driving through the park when they observed a group of lions sleeping.

The man then took his eyes of the pack. A lioness then allegedly grabbed ahold of his car seat and proceeded to claw her way into the vehicle. The lioness then bit the man on his right forearm before he managed to wrestle her out of the vehicle.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found the man in a stable condition. The man was then treated at the scene for a puncture wound to his arm, before being transported to the Life Fourways hospital for further medical care.
