A woman driving a VW Polo on Nirvana Drive in Lenasia allegedly aquaplaned in her vehicle after heavy rains in the area.
The woman in her 30’s was luckily uninjured but her car crashed through a stand on the side of the road where a man sells vegetables. The man was also fortunately not injured, but his stand was ruined.
Motorists should make sure they reduce their speed, increase their following distance from the vehicle in front of them and drive with their head lights on in wet weather conditions.
