A young motorcyclist has been injured after an apparent head on collision with an Opel Corsa on Curie Avenue in Bloemfontein.
No one knows what actually caused the accident, or as to who was at fault, but paramedics were called out to treat the young man who was flung from the bike. The Bloemfontein crews arrive at the scene to find the man in his 20’s lying on the road a short distance from his bike.
Although it seemed like the hit had not been too hard judging from the damage to the two vehicles, the young man’s leg had been broken as a result of the collision. There was also an indication that the ankle on the other leg had sustained a break too.
Despite the pain, the patient was alert and speaking to the paramedics who treated him on scene before transporting him to Pelonomi Hospital by ambulance. Luckily the young lady driving the Corsa was not injured.
