A twenty one year old motorcyclist is in a serious condition after been knocked down by a taxi at the corners of Old Main and Mill Road in Hillcrest this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the motorcyclist lying in the road with members of the public helping him. Paramedics assessed him and found that he had broken his arm and leg. They also suspected neck and back injuries as well. Advanced Life Support intervention was performed on the patient before transporting him to Hillcrest Private Hospital for further medical care.
The necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
