[Waterfall, KZN – 02 June 2012 at 11H00]
Three people have lost their lives after a collision involving a Bakkie and two light motor vehicles on Inanda Road just past Waterfall this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found a bakkie into the side of an UNO with a KIA into the back of the bakkie.
Three occupants of the UNO were entrapped. Paramedics assessed them and found that all three had already succumbed to their injuries and were declared deceased on scene. The driver of the bakkie was treated for minor to moderate injuries and transported to Hillcrest Private Hospital for further medical care. The driver of the other motor vehicle was unharmed in the accident.
The road has been closed to traffic while the necessary authorities investigate the accident further. The Jaws of Life was used to extricate the deceased from the wreckage.
