A fire broke out at a home in Vanderbijlpark leaving a 15 year old teen with minor smoke inhalation injuries.
The teen was at home alone when the fire started, and the cause of the fire is not year clear and will be determined upon investigation by the necessary officials.
Paramedics and Fire and Rescue services were dispatched to J van Melle street after calls came in of the fire that broke out in a home. The teen was found outside of the residence and paramedics treated him for minor smoke inhalation injuries while the Fire Department extinguished the blaze. The 15 year old was taken through to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further care.
The inside of the house was significantly damaged by the fire.
