Three men die in Bethlehem collision

Three men have died and one other sustained serious injuries after a single vehicle overturned on the Warden road approximately 10 kilometers outside of Bethlehem this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics received the call out to the scene and found that a single vehicle had left the road and overturned numerous times. All of the occupants had been ejected from the vehicle as it overturned and were found meters apart over a length of 50 meters.

Three of the men, all believed to be aged in their 30’s, had sustained various fatal injuries and were later declared dead at the scene. The surviving patient had sustained serious back, neck and chest injuries as well as various broken bones. The patient received treatment at the scene before being transported to hospital by another ambulance service.

The road remained closed for traffic for some time following the collision. Local law enforcement officials attended the scene and will be investigating the cause of the collision further.
