A sixty-six-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was struck by lightning in Carstens Glen, Kimberly last night. Reports indicate that the neighbours heard a loud crack and when they looked out the critically injured man was lying on the ground in the driveway.
After the Netcare 911 paramedic’s stabilized the injured man on scene, they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
