A pilot and passenger were unharmed after doing an emergency landing on Durban’s Beach between Suncoast and North Beach this morning.
ER24 and other emergency personnel arrived on the scene and found the single engine plane on the beach still intact. Both occupants were found on the beach standing next to the plane. They were assessed and found that they were unharmed in the incident.
All necessary authorities were on the scene and the necessary aviation authorities were notified of the incident. It is believed that the couple were on their way from East London to Virgina Airport when they got into difficulty.
