A female in her thirties tragically died during a recreational scuba dive off the Bluff in Durban today. Exact detail as to how the incident happened will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
N S R I and Netcare 911 paramedics were activated at around 10h55 this morning for a diver that was found unresponsive at a dive site south of Durban. The NS R I crew responded by boat and brought the diver back to shore where advanced life support paramedics from Netcare were standing by.
Tragically after examination the young diver was declared dead on scene.
