A female has died while four others were injured, one critically so, after they were trapped in a burning house in the Adams Mission area near Amanzimtoti this morning. Details to the cause of the fire will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the fire department arrived at the scene and found that an elderly female had tragically burnt to death while her husband sustained critical burns, thee others managed to escape from the burning building with minor burns.
After the patients were stabelised on scene they were transported to an area hospital for the care that they required.
