A Man in his twenties is fighting for his life after he landed in front of an eighteen wheeler on the M41 in Umhlanga this afternoon at around 14h50. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene to find the man lying on the roadway in a critical condition. After he was placed on a ventilator and skillfully immobilized on a trauma board, medics transported him to the Netcare Umhlanga hospital for the care that he required.
