A man has tragically drowned on the Durban beach front this evening at around 19h30. Reports came in from fisherman that they spotted a man floating in the surf near Joe Cools .
Netcare 911 rescue unit and the life guards entered the surf and pulled the man onto the beach, tragically the man in his twenties had died before our arrival, the body was handed over to the local S A P for further investigation.
