A pedestrian believed to be in her late twenties has died after an hit and run accident in Dobsonville, Soweto in the early part of this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the City of Johannesburg EMS on scene and resuscitating the patient. Unfortunately after a long battle to try and save the patients life, she was declared deceased due to the injuries she had sustained in the incident.
It is believed that the woman crossed the road and was struck by a passing motor vehicle that allegedly did not stop. The necessary authorities will investigate the accident further.
