Netcare 911 paramedics, its rescue unit and other services responded to an accident on the R24 West Bound just before the Ventersdorp turn-off this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a light delivery vehicle with a trailer had overturned. A woman sustained moderate injuries, a man was critically injured and another man tragically died on the scene due to the extensive injuries he had sustained.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
