Two men were seriously injured after a wall collapsed at a Durban Hotel this afternoon. Reports indicate that the men were standing on scaffolding when the wall collapsed, trapping the workers between the bricks and scaffolding.
Netcare 911 paramedics their rescue unit and the S A P search and rescue arrived at the scene to find the men in a serious condition. After the rescue units used the Jaws of Life to cut the metal structure to free the men, paramedics stabelised them on scene before they were transported to a local hospital for the care that they required.
