Just before 6am this morning Rescue Care paramedics were called to the M4 Durban bound before Jacobs offramp for a vehicle that had rolled.
On arrival paramedics found that a single vehicle had lost control and rolled several times before coming to rest in the taxi lane. Paramedics found three occupants of the vehicle in the roadway. A quick assessment revealed that all three had sustained moderate injuries. All the patients were stabilized on scene using Advanced Life Support intervention and then placed on specialized equipment before being transported to various Durban hospitals for further care that they required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating further.
Traffic was affected as two of the four lanes were closed whilst emergency personal worked to clear the scene.
