Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on Main Reef Road in Princess, Roodepoort this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a ten-year-old girl was knocked over by a motor vehicle. The critically injured young girl was rushed to a nearby hospital but tragically died on arrival at the hospital.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
