A fourteen-year-old boy is in a critical condition after he was hit by a train at the Merebank Railway station this morning. Reports from the scene indicate that the boy was pushed and landed on the railway line in front of a train.
Netcare 911 and the Provincial paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the train had run over the Childs leg. After paramedic’s stabelised the patient on scene, they transported him with a provincial ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
