Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a shooting incident in Cosmo City in Johannesburg late this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that three men were injured. Two men sustained critical injuries and one was seriously injured.
The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift one of the critically injured men to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical care that he required. The other two men were treated on scene before being transported to nearby medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
