Two people were injured after a head-on collision on the R603 near the Almond Road off ramp in Winklespruit this afternoon at around 14h55. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the severely crumpled remains of the vehicles obstructing the east bound lane, the patients were found at the side of the road. After the injured were stabelised on scene they were transported to a local Netcare hospital for the care that they required.
