Netcare 911 paramedics and its rescue unit responded to an accident on the St John’s Bridge over the M13 in Pinetown yesterday afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that one person was seriously injured after two motor vehicles collided.
The injured person was treated on scene before being transported to a nearby provincial hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
