Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a three motor vehicle pile-up accident on Witkoppen Road in North Riding this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a woman and three children were injured during the accident with injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
After they were treated on scene, they were transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
