Two people were seriously injured after a heavy goods truck slammed into the rear of a car towing a trailer on the n1 in Fairland’s. Reports indicate that the truck collided with a stationary car , a man was standing behind the car loading boxes onto the trailer when the accident happened.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the truck driver had sustained serious injuries, the man that was behind the vehicle was fortunate to escape with his life, he ran away from the scene and the rolling truck struck him against his head .
Paramedic’s stabelised the injured on scene before they were transported to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
