A man and nine teens have been injured after the taxi that they were travelling in rolled on Baden Powell Drive near the Annadale road intersection in the Eastern Suburbs of Cape Town this morning.
According to witnesses on scene, the driver appeared to have suddenly lost control which he could not regain and the vehicle then rolled. Due to the mechanism, the driver was left trapped in the wreckage. He was removed by the Fire Department and later airlifted from scene to a nearby hospital.
All of the teenagers who were around the age of 17 years old, fortunately only suffered minor or moderate injuries and paramedics treated them on scene before they were taken to hospitals in the area.
