Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident at the intersection of Diesel Street and Isando Road in Elandsfontein this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motorcycle and delivery vehicle collided.
The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and the Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the critically injured man to a Netcare facility for the urgent medical care that he required.
Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
