A 19 year old young man has suffered extensive injuries following a motorbike collision in Vanderbijlpark this morning.
The motorbike collided into the side of a light motor vehicle at the intersection of Barrage and Frikkie Meyer Boulevard. Paramedics explained that the bike broke apart after the impact and the young man was left with critical injuries.
The patient was stabilised on scene and transported by ambulance to Mediclinic Emfuleni where he remains in a critical condition.
The details surrounding the cause of the collision are unclear and remain to be investigated by local authorities.
