Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a shooting incident on the R104 near Love Road in Pretoria this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found a thirty-six-year-old man in a critical condition.
The man was treated on scene before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
