Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a lightning strike incident on Robinson Road in Mayfair this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that three men were struck by lightning while walking down the road. One man tragically lost his life, one man was found in a critical condition while the third man sustained moderate injuries.
The injured men were treated on scene before they were rushed to hospital for further medical care.
