A two-year-old boy was treated for near drowning symptoms after the child fell into a swimming pool on the Durban beach front this afternoon just after 16h00. Exact detail to how the child landed into the pool is still speculative.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child out of the water and in the care of the family. After they examined the child it was found that he was in a stable condition. Paramedics transported the mother and child to a Durban hospital for further observation.
