A Mozambican man has tragically died while another sustained critical injuries after heavy machinery collapsed on them. Reports indicate that the two men were working on the machinery on the pavement near a service station along Alumina Alley in Richards Bay this evening.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the one man still trapped under the earth moving machine, tragically he had died before our arrival. The other patient was removed from the scene before our arrival and taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.
