A man believed to be in his late thirties has been killed following a motor vehicle collision on the N2 north bound near the busy EB Cloete interchange.
The cause of the collision is unknown but witnesses say the light motor vehicle colllided with a stationery truck on the busy highway.
Unfortunately the man and single occupant of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries and there was nothing ER24 Paramedics could do for him, he was declared dead on arrival.
The local authorities were on scene and investigations are under way.
