A man sustained serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on the R 603 before Lovu Township near Amanzimtoti today. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying at the side of the roadway. After he was stabilised at the scene they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
