A female is in a serious condition after a near-drowning incident on a Durban beach this afternoon at around 12h15. Reports indicate that the swift action from the life guards pulling the female from the surf saved her life.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the female at the beach front with near drowning symptoms. After they stabilised her on scene , paramedics transported her to an area hospital for the care that she required.
