A seventeen-year-old boy has been swept out to sea at Tinley Manor beach on the Natal north coast this afternoon. Reports indicate that the bather went out in extremely turbulent water when he was swept out to sea and disappeared under the water.
Netcare 911 paramedics received the call at around 14h12 and when they arrived at the beach they found life guards searching fervently for the man, S A P S search and rescue was called to the incident and has taken charge of the search efforts.
