A man has tragically died after a drowning incident at a dam in the Thornville area in the K Z N Midlands at around 11h55 this morning. Reports indicate that the man went for a swim when he disappeared under the water.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and were unable to locate the missing person. Police divers were called to the scene to search the floor of the dam for the man.
