Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on Memoriam Road in Bloemfontein just after 14h00 this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that one person had sustained serious injuries after two motor vehicles and a minibus had collided.
The injured patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
