A female in her twenties sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a car along Douglas Crowe Avenue in Ballito this morning at around 08h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the female lying on the road. After she was stabilised at the scene paramedics transported her to a nearby hospital for the care that she required.
