Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on the P200 in Ramsgate this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that an eighteen-year-old man is in a serious condition after his motorcycle collided with a light delivery vehicle.
The man was treated on scene before he was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
