One man has been found dead near a sports ground in Umbilo, KwaZulu Natal this morning.
A security guard patrolling the area who discovered the body quickly alerted ER24 paramedics.
Once on scene, paramedics found the severely burned man lying on a mattress in the bushes. The man was declared dead when no signs of life were evident. Paramedics thereafter informed SAPS personnel about their findings.
SAPS arrived shortly afterwards and investigations ensued.
